<p>PURPOSE:To prevent waste of a tape and useless consumption of power supply by providing a detection means detecting a state of image pickup and a switch means turning on/off a power supply of a finder with an output signal sent from the detection means. CONSTITUTION:A detection means 8 detects a state of image pickup to output a signal, a power supply 10 of a finder A is energized in response to the signal and the power supply 10 is turned off by a switch means 16 when the signal from the means 8 is not in existence after the end of image pickup. Moreover, a 1st timer means 14 is added, and when the signal from the detection means 8 is stopped and the timer means 14 counts elapsed time and the power supply of the finder A is turned off by the switch means 16 after lapse of a prescribed time. Moreover, a 2nd timer means 17 is added, which counts an elapsed time after the power supply of the finder A is turned off and when the signal from the means 8 is not in existence even after lapse of a prescribed time, the main power supply of the magnetic recording and reproducing device is turned off.</p> |
