<p>PURPOSE:To make cable insulators and an auxiliary insulator to have surfaces having good adhesion to the external conductive layer of a connecting section so as to improve the electric characteristic of the connecting section by forming the insulators to have smooth surfaces by heating heat shrinkable tubes after the tubes are put on the cable insulators and the slope rising sections of the auxiliary insulator. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary insulator 21 of a connecting section is shaped after it is formed of a resin by molding. Heat shrinkable tubes 33a and 33b of a fluorocarbon resin are respectively put on cable insulators 15a and 15b and at least slope rising sections 35a and 35b of the auxiliary insulator 21 and made to shrink by heating. When the tubes 33a and 33b are removed, the surfaces of the insulators 15a, 15b, and 21 become smooth. Then an external conductive layer 23 for connecting section is continuously formed on the surfaces of the cable insulators 15a and 15b and auxiliary insulator 21 and the insulator 21 is cross-linked by heating the layer 23 while a pressure is applied from the outside. Therefore, the electric characteristic of the connecting section is improved, because the insulators 15a, 15b, and 21 are formed to have extremely smooth surfaces.</p> |
