<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the tee which is liable to be broken when left after a tee shot by producing the tee from a resin selected from modified polyethylene(PE) essentially consisting of specific ethylene and polydscaprolactone. CONSTITUTION:The modified PE consists essentially of the ethylene formed by copolymerizing ethylene and carbon monoxide or the ethylene, carbon monoxide and ethylenic unsatd. compd. and has photodegradability. The PE having 0.5 to 20wt.% copolymn. ratio of the carbon monoxide is more preferable. The ethylenic unsatd. compd. is exemplified by vinyl acetate, vinyl lactate, etc. The polycaprolactone is the compd. obtd. by bringing epsilon-caprolactone and diol into reaction in the presence of a catalyst and has microorganism degradability. The catalyst is generally an org. tin compd., org. titanium compd., org. tin halide compd. and the amt. of the catalyst to be added is 0.1 to 5000ppm. The polymn. is preferably effected in an inert gas at the reaction temp. ranging 100 to 230 deg.C. Consequently, the tee which decays naturally even when rested after the tee shot is obtd.</p> |
