PURPOSE:To prevent an element for lighting control from being damaged by preventing rush current at the initial time of lighting of a light source. CONSTITUTION:When a zero crossing signal is inputted to an interruption terminal and the interruption is permitted, a main routine is returned and a soft timer value T' is increased one by one in every input of the succeeding zero crossing signal until the soft timer value T' is made to coincide with a value T set up by a timer setting routine under control by a microcomputer. Therefore lighting of a halogen lamp is gradually increased. If the power conduct time to the halogen lamp is increased in every prescribed time alphamus from zero up to alphaTmus at the initial lighting of the lamp as shown in the figure, voltage values to be applied to the lamp are gradually increased, preventing the element for lighting control from being damaged. |
