PURPOSE:To attain efficient lighting and to make the sensor small by mounting a lighting LED onto a side face of an optical fiber array. CONSTITUTION:A lighting light emitting from an LED array 3 passes through a transparent board 5b of an optical fiber plate 5 and propagates to an optical fiber array 5a. Then the lighting light in oblique crossing downward with the optical fiber in its prolonged direction in the lighting light from the array 3 radiates from the original side of the array 5a and reaches the original face 4. A reflected light in the original face 4 is made incident in the array 5a and the light radiating from the array 5a reaches a CCD sensor chip 1, in which the light is converted into a signal. A light shield pate 7 made of a metal or the like is arranged in the transparent board at the side of the LED array 3 in the transparent board 5b. The upward component of the lighting light radiating from the LED array 3 is shielded by the light shield plate 7 and does not reach the CCD sensor chip 1, then a stray light component is eliminated. |
