PURPOSE:To obtain the subject rice cake, excellent in preservation quality, flavor and quality and useful for camping, etc., by dipping glutinous rice in water, then steaming the glutinous rice, drying the steamed rice, powdering the dried rice, adding an additive thereto, packaging the resultant mixture, placing the package in a container, hydrating and kneading or pounding the rice. CONSTITUTION:Glutinous rice is dipped in water, steamed, dried, powdered and ground to fine powder and a prescribed amount of an additive (e.g. bean or sea tangle) is added thereto. The resultant mixture is hermetically sealed and packaged with a bag made of a plastics, etc. The packaged powder of glutinous rice and the additive are placed in a container, hydrated and kneaded or pounded to afford the objective rice cake. |
