PURPOSE:To simplify a control panel, to shorten the depth thereof and to improve use efficiency by forming an image by using an image forming condition received from the transmission means of a setting device which is placed on a recessed part and an opening and closing cover which is in an opened state and content designated by the panel. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an attachable/detachable setting device 2 which transmits data on the specified image forming condition by the use of the transmission means 9, and an operation for setting the number of image formed sheets is designated by the control panel 80. A part of the setting device 2 is placed on the recessed part which is shorter than the depth of the setting device and the other part of the device 2 is placed on the opening and closing cover 82 in the opened state, which is provided in the recessed part 81. The data on the image forming condition is received from the transmission means 9 of the setting device 2 placed on the recessed part 81 and the cover 82 which is in the opened state, and the image is formed on an image carrier by using the image forming condition and the content designated by the panel 80. Thus, the control panel is simplified and the depth thereof is shortened, then the use efficiency is improved by inputting the complicated image forming condition. |
