PURPOSE:To enable even a person handicapped in the eyes to confirm and input a character and a symbol and to output a generated document in braille by converting an input character code to an audio signal in accordance with the reading of the code, and converting it to a braille code. CONSTITUTION:When an operator inputs the character from a keyboard 1, a data processing part 2 converts it to a character code, and outputs it to an audio interface 4 and a CRT 3, and it is displayed on the screen of the CRT 3, and also, the interface part 4, after converting input character position data to the audio signal by a ROM, etc., outputs it to a speaker 5. After that, the interface part 4 converts the character code to the audio signal by the ROM, and outputs it to the speaker 5. Thereby, the operator can listen to the input position of the character and the tone of an input character from the speaker 5, thereby, an inputted character and whether or not input is performed correctly can be recognized. Also, since a generated document is printed on a sheet in the braille by a braille output device 8, even the person handicapped in the eyes can read the generated document. |
