The contacting is preferably effected under conditions comprising a temperature 120 to 370 ·C (250 to 700 ·F), a pressure of 100 to 7000 kPa (atmospheric to 1000 psig), a weight hourly space velocity of 0.1 to 50 hr-1, and a hydrogen:feedstock molar ratio of 0:1 to 10:1.
