<p>PURPOSE:To obscure the flaws, dust, etc., of a photographic film and to suppress the generation of unequal colors as well as to prevent the increase in the contrast of a finished print by providing a diffusion plate between a light intensity modulating means and the photographic film. CONSTITUTION:The diffusion plate 17 is disposed above a liquid crystal panel 13 to sufficiently diffuse the light of a lamp 10 transmitted through the liquid crystal panel 13. The frame to be printed of a negative film 19 is irradiated with this diffused light. A glass plate having fine protrusions on the surface or opal glass, etc., are used for the diffusion plate 17. The light transmitted through the light intensity modulating means 13 is diffused by the diffusion plate 17 and the photographic film 19 is illuminated with this diffused light. The flaws, etc., of the photographic film 19 are obscured in this way the the influence of the mosaic patterns of the color filter of the light intensity modulating means 13 is eliminated. The finishing of the high contrast is thus prevented.</p> |
