A general purpose cleaning agent is described, which cleaning agent comprises an aqueous solution of sodium N- chloro-p-toluenesulphonamide, an anionic surfactant which does not react with chlorine, a stabilizer/sequestrant and, where appropriate, perfume and other conventional additives. |
