PURPOSE:To firmly connect an electronic part element to a cap electrode by preparing an arc portion at the open tip section of the cap electrode and by making a folded part in this arc portion. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular electronic part element, when it is molded and inserted in a rectangular cap electrode 11, is held by a squeezed-out portion 12 and contact portion 13. In order to enhance the holding strength of the cap electrode 11 for an inserted rectangular electronic part element, a lapping stone with a diameter longer than the length of the diagonal line of electrode 11 are inserted in the container which is rotated and/or vibrated. As a result, the electrode 11 is folded only inside and becomes a rectangular cap electrode 15 with a holding section having a folded portion 14. This folded portion 14 bites an inserted electronic part element to firmly maintain the connection between the element and the electrode 11. |
