PURPOSE:To transfer a state change accurately by revising the transfer method to a host monitor controller in response to number of times of occurrence of state changes for monitor items. CONSTITUTION:A state change in a device 8 to be monitored is detected by a state change detection circuit 2 of a monitor controller 1 and transferred to an information transfer control circuit 6. The information transfer control circuit 6 increments a count of a counter 4 for each monitor item and decrements the count proportional to lapse of time after the occurrence of state change based on the time information from a timer 5 and stops the transfer of monitor information to a host monitor controller 7 till the count restores a state not in excess of a prescribed value when the count of the counter 4 exceeds the predetermined value. Thus, even on the occurrence of the state change as to monitor items caused in a burst way, other important information is quickly transferred to the host monitor controller and the state change is accurately transferred to the host monitor controller. |
