PURPOSE:To increase the workable time of a portable equipment by attaching a 2nd battery pack to a 2nd storing recessed part in order to supply the power to the equipment from two battery packs. CONSTITUTION:A 1st battery pack 50 serving as a driving power supply of a portable computer 1 is attached to a 1st storing recessed part 42. At the same time, a 2nd battery pack 80 serving as a driving power supply of the computer or a MODEM box serving as an option parts in selectively attached to a 2nd storing recessed part 43. Therefore the power can be supplied to the computer 1 from two packs 50 and 80 owing to the pack 80 attached to the part 43. As a result, the power consumption of both packs 50 and 80 is reduced and therefore the working time of the computer 1 is increased.
