<p>PURPOSE:To improve the stability and dimensional precision of the cartridge by specifying the dimensional tolerance of a tube filter to be used for the cartridge and arranging the longer filters around the side plate. CONSTITUTION:Plural tube filters 1 are arranged between the opposed side plates 2 in multiple stages and fixed to form a filter cartridge for molten metal. In this case, the dimensional tolerance of the filter 1 is kept within + or -0.3mm, and the longer filters 1 are arranged at the four corners 3 of the side plate 2. Consequently, the strength of the cartridge is held above a specified value, and the dimensional precision is improved.</p> |
