POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide a polypropylene resin composition having excellent impact resistance by compounding a polypropylene resin with combustion ash having a specific average particle diameter and a specific surface area and a thin flaky inorganic material in a specified wt. ratio as fillers. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic filler-containing polypropylene resin composition having excellent impact resistance comprises (A) a polypropylene resin (e.g. ethylene-propylene copolymer having an ethylene content) and (B) <=50 wt.% of a mixture of B1: a thin flaky inorganic material (e.g. talc, clay or mica) preferably having an aspect ration of >=5 and B2: a combustion ash having a wt. average particle diameter of 1-20mum and a specific surface area of >=10 X10<3> cm<2>/g and obtained by burning a flammable material containing >=10 wt.% of coal at approximately 800 deg.C in a B1/B2 wt. ratio of 75/25.
