PURPOSE:To accurately measure impurities without depositing as a dew condensation on a flow passage, by heating the flow passage of gas. CONSTITUTION:Mercury in an waste gas is collected in a mercury collecting furnace 4 afer thermally decomposing the waste gas of a flue 1 in a thermal decomposition furnace 3 through a heating pipe 2 and the gas is discharge out of system through a valve 13, flow rate masuring instrument 5. A gas flow passage 6 is heated by a heating apparatus 7 shown by a dotted line. An inflow of the waste gas to the furnace 4 is stopped by operating a valve 8 after finishing the collection of sample and the waste gas is discharged out of system from a pipe 9. Further, an outflow of the gas for the side of the instrument 5 is stopped by a valve 13 and also, the flow passage for the side of an atomic absorptivity analytical cell 11. Next, the furnace 4 is heated and generated mercury vapor is introduced into the cell 11 and the quantity of mercury is measured. |
