PURPOSE:To obtain the display screen which does not generate the flickering by after-images by varying and setting the scanning time of one screen of display information according to a shift speed, thereby allowing the shift time and the scanning time for one screen to coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A display device 4 arranged with many pieces of luminous bodies in the form of a matrix as well as a driving circuit section and a control circuit section are provided. The control circuit section varies and sets the scanning time of one screen above the display according to the luminous bodies of the display device 4 and the transfer of the lighting positions. The control circuit section varies and sets the scanning time of one screen of the display information according to the shift speed in such a manner and, therefore, the shift time and the scanning time for one screen are made to coincide with each other and the driving of the LEDs entailing the transfer of the lighting positions at all times is executed. The easily visible display screen which does not generate the flickering by the after-images is formed in this way.
