COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the quality and yield of a transparent substrate with color filters by forming the electrode terminal parts of this substrate thicker than the transparent electrodes of display parts forming the intersected points of a matrix. CONSTITUTION:The electrode terminal parts 110a are formed by vapor deposition or sputtering of ITO (In2O3-SnO2) only on the transparent electrodes 11 of the display parts forming the intersected points of the matrix, i.e., the terminal parts in the respective extended likewise formed on the ITO (In2O3-SnO2) of a prescribed thickness at the thickness of several times the thickness of the extended parts. A top coat layer 14 is hardly flawed during handling even if the hardness of this layer is slightly low if the panel is formed in such a manner. The electrode terminal parts are not disconnected even if this layer is flawed. The reliability and yield of the terminal connection are improved in this way.
