PURPOSE:To minimize the loss of electric power on dehumidifying and moreover, to take a proper dehumidifying action according to dew condensation. CONSTITUTION:A dew condensation state detecting photosensor 17 is provided in the vicinity of a final mirror 15 just before a photosensitive drum 16 on an optical unit part 10 having a front stage mirror 12, a lens 13 and a rear stage Mirror 14. A constitution is adopted so that a copying lamp 11 is transiently operated at the time of initializing a machine, to receive a reflected light quantity detecting level Li from the final mirror 15 at this time by the dew condensation state detecting photosensor 17, when the level Li is lower than a prescribed value, a dehumidifier is operated for a given time, and the temporary action of the copying action 11 and the operation of the dehumidifier are repeated until the reflected light quantity detecting level Li is higher than the prescribed value, and advancement toward a copying ready state is attained when the level Li is higher than the prescribed value. |
