<p>PURPOSE:To restrict a person securely, even if he/she stands in just front of an instrument panel, by making the tip parts of two air bag main frames to collide with each other for contact under the expanded condition, and forming a nearly triangle space from a flat view between a car body member and the air bag main frames. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a person 19 such as a child stands in just front of an instrument panel 11 in front of an assistant seat 8, when air bag main frames 13a, 13b are expanded, the air bag main frame 13a is expanded larger than the other one, and a surface 13e of the air bag main frame 13a and the tip 13d of the other air bag main frame 13b collide with each other for contact to form a nearly triangle space S from a view between the instrument panel 11 and the surfaces 13e, 13e, and both sides and the back of the person 19 are surrounded by both the air bag main frames 13a, 13b to restrict a movement of the person 10 to the sides and the backward. In the case that a person 19a sits in the assistant seat 8, the tip 13d of the air bag main frame 13a comes close to a front surface side 10c of a back seat 10 of the assistant seat 8 to restrict a movement of the person 19a forward.</p> |
