<p>PURPOSE:To absorb impact effectively and to prevent transmission of impact to the outside by disposing an impact absorbing operating unit, which functions synchronously with a gas insulated circuit breaker to oppose its impact, in the enclosure of the gas insulated circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION:An impact absorbing operating unit 30 is mounted on the operational mechanism box 1 of a gas insulated circuit breaker 20 and operated synchronously with the gas insulated circuit breaker 20. A lever 33 provided with a rack is coupled through a link mechanism to the lower end of a movable section 32 which penetrates through the upper face of a supporting member 31 secured to the bottom face of the operational mechanism box 1. Upon commanding interruption of the circuit breaker 20, an operating rod 3 descends abruptly and compressed by an operating cylinder 2 to produce an upward impact F1 on a base 22. At the same time, pinion 34 of an impact absorbing operating unit 30 rotates to cause rotation of the lever 33 provided with rack thus stretching a spring member 36. Consequently, the movable section 32 descends to exert a downward impact F3 on the base 22. The impacts F1 and F3 are canceled to prevent transmission of impact to the outside.</p> |
