<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a non-contact card which can be used for a long period on the market by stopping the generation of the clock signal with an external clock stop signal. CONSTITUTION:A battery 14 loaded to a non-contact card 10 and a CPU 11 is actuated by a started internal clock. Under such conditions, a product test is carried out in order to confirm whether the card 10 works normally or not. When this test is over, the clock stop signals of 'L' levels are inputted to the AND circuits 22 and 32 of a clock stop circuit 20. Thus the circuit 22 cuts the oscillation grant signal to be inputted to a NAND circuit 23 from a 1st flip-flop 21. As a result, the oscillation of a resonance circuit 34 is stopped. Then the working of the CPU 11 is stopped and the entire function of the card 10 is stopped. Therefore the battery 14 is never consumed before the internal clock is started again. Thus a long and stable available period is secured for the card 10 on the market.</p> |
