PURPOSE:To execute the editing processing at a high speed by executing plotting of a straight line or a cubic curve on a display means in accordance with line kind data of a read-out point group, and interpolating the part between two points by a cubic Bezier curve, as for plotting of the cubic curve. CONSTITUTION:Coordinate data and line kind data of interpolation inputted from a keyboard are put into a coordinate pipe and a line kind pipe, respectively. In such a state, in the case a new point P5 is instructed, the contents of the coordinate pipe and the line kind pipe are updated, and the part between an instruction point P3 and P4 is interpolated in accordance with the instructed line kind l3. In the case the kind l3 instructs a straight line, the instruction point P3 and P4 are connected by a straight line, and in the case the line kind l3 instructs a circular arc, interpolation of a cubic curve is executed as mentioned hereinbelow. That is, an inclination K3 in the instruction point P3 is derived from P2P3, and alo, an inclination K4, in the instruction point P4 is derived from P3P4, and from coordinates and the inclinations K3, K4 of the instruction points P3, P4, the part between the instruction point P3 and P4 is interpolated by a Bezier curve. |
