PURPOSE:To easily produce a conn tubular body having a small diameter part at one end and make it possible to comparatively easily form a tubular body in continuous lengthy form having high joining strength by a method wherein continuous fiber is wound round the cylindrical part of a mandrel at one end of which a small diameter part is provided. CONSTITUTION:At one end side or a cylindrical part end, which is opposite to a gripping part 5, of a cylindrical part 1, a small diameter part 3 over a certain range is provided. A tapered stepped part 4 is formed between the small diameter part 3 and the cylindrical part 1. The diameter of the small diameter part is the size smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical part, which is the regular part of a mandrel, by the wound thickness of fiber. Thus, the outer diameter of the small diameter part of a formed body, which is produced with the mandrel, is nearly equal to the inner diameter of the regular cylindrical part of the formed body, resulting in making the slip-on connection of the small diameter part possible at the joining of formed bodies with each other. Further, in order to obtain dimensionally accurate and strong joining state through the insertion of the small diameter part, the outer diameter of the small diameter part must be machined so as to be slightly larger than the inner diameter of the cylindrical part and to realize reasonable dimensions at the outer diameter of the small diameter part of the formed body and a at the inner diameter of the inserting part of the companion side formed body. |
