NEW MATERIAL:Unidentified new microorganism sterile dark k89-A (FERM P11505) belonging to mold and proliferating in the root, tuber or seed of crops in general. USE:Antimicrobial agent against Gaeumannomyces, Fusarium and Verticillium causing take-off, fusarium wilt, brown root blight, etc. PREPARATION:Root of fall-sowing wheat is successively washed and sterilized and a cut slice of the root is placed on a potato-glucose agar medium. The slice is maintained at 25 deg.C for 14 days and the objective microorganism is separated from the formed colony. |
