PURPOSE:To remove the bubbles attached to a fluid passage within a short time without requiring complicated operation by intermittently sending a liquid in the liquid passage of a device. CONSTITUTION:Ringer's solution in a vessel 37 is sent into a centrifugal pump 33 from the inlet port 39 of the centrifugal pump 33 through a branched pipe 43 and a tube 41, energized by a rotating body in the centrifugal pump 33, discharged from a discharge hole 35, and sent to the blood inflow port 17 of an oxygenator 1. The discharge hole 35 of the centrifugal pump 33 is provided on the top part of the centrifugal pump 33. Namely, the rotating shaft of the centrifugal pump 33 is horizontally provided, and the discharge hole 35 is provided on the top part and in the tangential direction to the circular housing inner surface of the centrifugal pump 33, whereby, when the centrifugal pump 33 is intermittently driven, the bubbles collected in the central direction of the rotating body in the centrifugal pump 33 come up to the surface during stopping the centrifugal pump 33 and are easily discharged from the discharge hole 35. |
