This device is a lever arm rotating with a variable arm length (1) which, for an equal thrust, gives a variable speed to the spindle A and a variable thrust to the spindle B. Characterised by two arms (1) perpendicular to the spindle A entraining three pads (studs) (2) placed at an equal distance on a perpendicular circumference about the spindle B which is off-set with respect to the spindle A. This principle can be used with all spindles which receive an irregular thrust which it is sufficient to place at the best locations of the turn of the spindle A. Examples of application: bike pedals, engine pistons, cranks, etc. <IMAGE>
