<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject apparatus capable of culturing a culture object having large cluster diameter in high density over a long period without contamination by providing a mechanism for harvesting a definite amount of the cultured product and a mechanism for extracting used liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus enables the stable maintenance of the culture condition in high-density state and the sure removal of growth- inhibiting substances such as waste cell and unnecessary liquid medium by harvesting a definite amount of proliferated culture product with a cultured product harvesting mechanism capable of harvesting a definite amount of the cultured product and extracting used liquid medium with a liquid medium extraction mechanism. The harvesting mechanism is constructed of e.g. shut-off valves 30,32, a culture product metering zone 10 and a harvesting tank 40. The liquid medium extraction mechanism is constructed of e.g. an extraction port 12, shut-off valves 34,36,38 and an extraction channel 14.</p> |
