PURPOSE:To prevent a cable from twisting when an ultrasonic transmitter/ receiver is scanned by connecting a signal cable connected to the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver to an ultrasonic observer through a rotary type fluid contact connector. CONSTITUTION:When an ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 20 is turned, a signal cable 25 is twisted together with a control cable 23. A rotatable cable section 25a of the signal cable 25 is turned with a rotation side terminal 41 of a rotary type fluid contact connector 40 to keep a twisting force from being transmitted to the sides of a fixed terminal 42 and a non-rotation cable 25b, which ensures the prevention of a disconnection other wise caused by an excessive force applied to the signal cable. Thus, as a rotation side part of the signal cable 25 is connected to a non-rotation side part thereof through fluid contacts 43a and 43b of a rotary type fluid contact connector 40 to eliminate sliding contact between the rotation side terminal 41 and the fixed side terminal 42, thereby enabling the prevention of possible noises with a stable connection between both the terminals 41 and 42. This also can check a transmission loss of signals to a minimum. |
