<p>PURPOSE:To enhance work efficiency through the processes of spacesaving, effective use of the space and simplification of equipment by enabling a first gripping means to hold one side of each of stacked cases for raising it, and thereafter enabling a second gripping means to hold the other side of the same for succeeding the former operation. CONSTITUTION:A transfer device 2 is formed of a travelling truck 10 moving along travel rails 1, a fork device 12 elevated along a pillar 11 and also moved horizontally, an elevating device and an expansion device for the fork device 12, bed mechanism 23, and an elevating device for the bed mechanism 23. In this constitution, piled-up cases 30, 30... are gripped and lifted by the vertical movement and expansion/contraction of the fork device 12. The cases 30 are then placed temporarily on the bed mechanism 23 and held again by the fork device 12 so as to be lifted up from a bed 23a and conveyed into a transfer position. Plural cases can be thus piled up on the bed to be transferred.</p> |
