The apparatus comprises a base 1 in which are fitted two concurrent rods 3, whose separation distance decreases from their start towards their end. The canal instrument to be bent using this apparatus is engaged between the rods 3 at a height of the latter at which their separation is greater than the diameter of the instrument, then the latter is moved in translation until it bears against the rods 3, at the height of the latter where their separation becomes less than the diameter of the instrument. It is then sufficient to withdraw the latter whilst additionally imparting to it a lateral displacement in order to give it a bent shape corresponding to the shape of the dental canal to be treated. <IMAGE> |
