METHOD FOR CONTROLLING RADIATION OF FAR INFRARED RAY IN LAVER-SHEET DRYING AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the quality of laver sheet caused by over-drying without lowering the productivity by radiating far infrared ray from a radiator to a laver sheet moving on a conveyor and, in the case of stopping the conveyor, interrupting the irradiation of the laver sheet while continuing the radiation from the radiator. CONSTITUTION:A laver sheet 100a is placed on a laver screen 100 and transferred by a transfer conveyor C. The moving laver sheet is dried with far infrared ray radiated from a far infrared radiator 21 placed at a prescribed position on the transfer line. When the transfer conveyor C is stopped by mechanical trouble, etc., a driving signal is transmitted from a controller to a motor M and the radiator 21 is turned counterclockwise through 90 deg. with the motor M to interrupt the irradiation of the laver sheet 100a while continuing the radiation of far infrared ray from the radiator. When the conveyor C is restarted, the radiator 21 is turned clockwise through 90 deg. to restart the irradiation of the laver sheet 100a.
