PURPOSE:To stably form toners in multiple layers on a developer carrying member and to prevent the toner filming on the carrying member by using the toner compounded with a specific ratio of a specific material. CONSTITUTION:The toner which consists of at least a binder resin and coloring agents and is compounded with the powder material having >=6W/mK thermal conductivity at 300K at 5 to 100pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. binder resin is used as the toner of the image forming method which visualizes electrostatic latent images by a nonmagnetic one component developer. Metals, such as Ag and Al, graphite, oxide, such as Al2O3, etc. are usable as this powder material. The effect of preventing the fusion of the toner to the developer carrying member is insufficient if the compounding ratio of the powder material is below 5pts.wt. The compounding ratio of the binder resin component decreases and the fixability is insufficient in some cases conversely if the compounding ratio exceeds 100pts.wt. |
