<p>PURPOSE:To tighten a tie rod with a prescribed fastening force by providing a nut member screwed in the tip of the tie rod, an abutting member coming in contact with the seating face of a fastening nut screwed in the tie rod and a hydraulic stretching device to draw the nut member and the abutting member. CONSTITUTION:When the tie rod 7 is tied up, the tip of the tie rod 7 is stretched by the hydraulic stretching device 41 in the axial direction to the seating face 15 of a tie rod fastening nut 11 screwed in the neighborhood of the tip of the tie rod. Then, as elastic stretching deformation is made by the stretching in the axial direction of the tie rod 7, the tie rod fastening nut 11 is tightened. Thereafter, when the stretching of the tie rod 7 is released and the elastic stretching deformation of the tie rod 7 is released, the tie rod 7 is fastened by a prescribed tightening force.</p> |
