PURPOSE:To carry out perfect rustproofing treatment by welding members to be joined to ends of steel structural members in advance to form a part thereof, melting and galvanizing these together with the structural members to perform welding and joining thereon. CONSTITUTION:In joining the steel structural members 1 to the stainless steel members 2 to be joined, grooves are formed on both joining end faces and both are abutted and subjected to arc welding in the same manner as a butt joint. After the structural members 1 and the members 2 to be joined are joined together, both members are molten and galvanized and carried in a field. Grooves are also formed in the same way on the end faces of the members 2 and 2 to be joined and at the field, both are arc-welded and joined in the same way by using an electrode of stainless steel, etc., of the same material as the members 2 to be joined. After the members 2 and 2 to be joined are joined, coating of the section where galvanization is not performed and coating by zinc rich paint painting are carried out on both surfaces thereof to supplement disappearance of galvanization by welding of a part and simultaneously, to prevent consumption of zinc by a zinc sacrificing anticorrosion effect at adjacent parts of different kind of metals of zinc and stainless steel. |
