The transmission gear for to and fro movements into a rotational movement is in the form of a flat belt (1) guided by rollers (3-6). Part of the flat belt's (1) periphery encloses the belt pulley (2) at a wide angle. The other part of the periphery is in the form a driveloop (8) consisting of an upper (9) and lower (9') stringer. A to and fro moving driver (7) moving lengthwise in a straight line is near the drive-loop (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - The gear is especially for muscle-power-driven bicycles, exercise machines, wheel-chairs etc.
