<p>The method for producing KAu(CN)4 is characterized by dissolving KAuCl4 in sodium carbonate soln. to obtain Au(OH)3, adding Au(OH)3 to KCN soln. to obtain KAu(CN)4 soln., heat-concentrating KAu(CN)4 soln., precipitating a plate crystal from the concentrated product, vacuum-filtering the precipitate to remove the KOH impurity in the precipitated crystal, removing the moisture, vacuum-drying it to obtain the high purity white powder, and stabilizing the powder with phophoric acid. The KAu(CN)4 is used in the mfr. of a plating soln. having a good water-solubility.</p> |
