PURPOSE:To make a fast moving display of a moving image and an accompanying still image and fast display variation like an animation by loading still image data in a display frame buffer for the moving image and displaying it on a screen together with the moving image. CONSTITUTION:Display frame buffers 0 and 1, a moving image data storage coordinate register A, and a display coordinate register 2-1 are provided and when the moving image is displayed, the coordinate values of a moving image movement destination are set in the register 2-1; and data read out of a corresponding moving image and still image data storage area in the buffer 1 set previously in the register A are displayed in a corresponding area on a display screen 9-1 which is set newly in the register 2-1 and the moving image is moved to the movement destination. Even when the moving image display is switched, the coordinate values of a switching destination are set in the register A and the still image in the moving image is switched to a corresponding area on the image plane 9-1 as well as in the movement. |
