<p>PURPOSE:To attain surface smoothness equal to that obtained by means of immersion plating by using molten metal grains having specific weight average grain size at the time of spraying molten metal. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing a hot-dipped strip-like metal by spraying molten metal, molten metal grains having weight average grain size <=15 times the thickness of plating to be formed are sprayed. Subsequently, if necessary, the surface is further smoothed by carrying out heating and holding under the conditions of temp. and time represented by inequality, where S is holding time (sec), (d) is weight average grain size (mum), T is holding temp. ( deg.C), and Tm is the melting point ( deg.C) of plating metal. By this method, spray coating can be made high-speed, and further, one-side plating and both-sides plating are also made possible and different platings can be applied to the surface and the rear surface.</p> |
