The photographic print process has the negative and film held together and passed under the collimated light in a throughflow process. The honeycomb collimator (10) is placed between the light diffusing screen (9) and the print (3) assembly and has a hexagonal unit cell shape, and is finished with a matt surface. The cell walls have two sides parallel to the direction of feed of the print and the dia. of the unit cell is between 8 to 15 mm. The thickness of the screen is 10 to 20 mm and it is spaced 20, to 40mm away from the print.
