To produce a dowel with a spreader, whereby the spreader partly surrounds the shank of the dowel and the shrank is at least partly broadened towards its free end at least partly in the region surrounded by the spreader, in which, as in the state of the art, undesired transverse forces are avoided and a small number of individual parts is needed but economic manufacture is facilitated, it is proposed that the dowel (1) takes the form of a headless nail which is T-shaped at the opposite end from the point and that the spreader (2) takes the form of a U-shaped part which can be pushed over the T-shaped end of the nail, whereby the shanks (6) of the U-shaped part can be opened out by the wedge-shaped broadenings (4) of the dowel (1) more widely with increasing penetration. |
