This invention relates to a means for propelling a boat manually and provides a fin-propelled boat as a vehicle for pastime on the water equipped with a propelling device, wherein drawbacks of the conventional boat using oars or scull or a pedal-operated boat such as obliging the user to direct his back in the advance direction of the boat and to be skilled in rowing can be eliminated by turning and flapping a fin-like propelling tool (2) made from an elastic material to facilitate exertion of a propelling power. The tool (2) is disposed in an appropriate position on the waterline of the hull (1) and connected to a revolving shaft (3) arranged on fulcrums (4) through a supporting part (8) to which connecting levers (6) are connected through an opening (5) formed through the hull (1) so as to extend toward the upper part thereof, and a handle (7) is fixed to the connecting levers (6) at the top. |
