PURPOSE:To enhance the manufacturing capacity and to obtain a homogenous joint of god quality by performing respective joint manufacturing processes while the position of a tubular body is moved. CONSTITUTION:The molten tubular extrudate M from an extrusion mold 2 is cut at high speed by a cutter 3 to deliver tubular bodies P. Subsequently, a turret type core supply apparatus 4 is revolved by 90 deg. in a counterclockwise direction and a core holding apparatus 6 is stopped at a position x1 but a rotary type clamping apparatus 7 is also revolved in the counterclockwise direction in synchronous relation to the turret type core supply apparatus 4 and a mold 8 for an outer shape is moved to a position y1 to stop. At this point of time, the mold 8 for the outer shape becomes an open state by removing an upper mold and the core holding apparatus 6 rapidly advances toward the lower mold 81 of the mold 8 for the outer shape to fit the core 5 having the tubular body P externally fitted thereto in the cavity of the lower mold 81. Further, the lower mold 81 is moved to a position y2 and the upper mold is closed and, at the same time, the core inserting apparatus 10 at the. position opposed to a core 5 advances to insert the core 5 held to the leading end of the apparatus 10 in the tubular body P. The tubular body P is shaped from the outer surface thereof by the mold 8 for the outer shape and from the inner surface thereof by the core 5 and subsequently cooled and solidified. |
