<p>PURPOSE:To improve proliferation effects at a low cost by containing an inorganic iron compound, ethanolamine and a selenium compound in a culture medium. CONSTITUTION:A culture medium solution is obtained by mixing and dissolving 40-100muM one or more selected from the group of FeSO4, Fe(NO3)3 and FeCl3, 0.01-0.05muM Se compound such as Na2SeO3, 10-50muM ethanolamine and, as necessary, 0.1-1.0mg/l insulin in a physiological saline solution, etc., so as to provide the concentration of about 100 times based on the final concentration. The resultant solution is subsequently sterilized with a filter having about 0.22mum pore size, then hermetically stoppered, frozen or refrigerated and preserved to prepare a composition for addition to a serum-free culture medium for culturing animal cells.</p> |
