PURPOSE:To perform two kinds of lot conserving manufacturing in conserved space by selectively positioning one of two sets of molds at the center of a clamping plate by the movement of a slider and opposing the other mold to the center of the clamping plate to replace the molds. CONSTITUTION:Sliders 13, 14 are moved in such a state that a pair of clamping plates 11, 12 are separated from each other and the first set of a receiving mold 17 and a lid mold 15 is positioned at the center between the clamping plates 11, 12 to oppose both molds 15, 17 each other and the second set of a receiving mold 16 and a lid mold 18 is retracted from the center between the clamping plates 11, 12. Next, a parison P is extruded from the blow die head B of a blow molding apparatus D to be suspended between the opposed receiving mold 17 and lid mold 15 of the first set. Subsequently, a pair of the clamping plates 11, 12 are allowed to approach mutually to connect the receiving mold 17 and the lid mold 15 each other and the parison P is received in the cavity formed by both molds and air is blown in the parison P to form the parison P into a predetermined shape by blow molding. During this period, the product is taken out of the lid mold 16 of the second set present at a retracted position and, if necessary, the insert part necessary for the next molding is set to the cavity of the lid mold 16. |
