The invention concerns a mitre-joint clamping device with which a pair of components (18) with a mitre cut, preferably frame components, can be pressed against each other on their bevel surfaces (58). The clamping device comprises two component holders (12', 12'') on which the components (18) are fitted, with the bevel surfaces (58) facing each other, and which can be moved relative to each other substantially at right angles to the bevel surfaces (58) on the inserted components (18). In order to be able to align the components (18) precisely before pressing them together, the invention proposes that the device includes a positioning element (22) which can be selectively inserted into the zone between the two component holders (12', 12'') and has stop surfaces (62) facing in opposite directions for the bevel surfaces (58). |
