<p>PURPOSE:To prevent interruption of a line due to a fault in a repeater by allowing each relay station equipment to adopt redundancy constitution for a repeater relaying a main signal sent to a transmission line so as to take processing against deterioration quickly. CONSTITUTION:A 1st repeater 12 relays a main signal sent on a transmission line. A 2nd repeater 13 is provided as a standby repeater with respect to the 1st repeater 12. A main signal sent through a signal changeover means 11 and on a transmission line 5 is inputted to either the 1st repeater 12 or the 2nd repeater 13 and one output is sent to the transmission line 5. Moreover, an opposite station communication means 15' is provided to receive a control signal via a monitor control line from a center monitor equipment and gives the master signal to the 2nd repeater 13. Thus, the deterioration in the repeater is detected in the in-service state and the processing corresponding to the deterioration is implemented quickly and while the interrupted line is prevented minimizingly due to a fault of the repeater, the defective repeater is specified.</p> |
