<p>PURPOSE:To enable resolution of the above printer to be varied by using one array by a method wherein a supporting tool supporting a light emitting element array is provided opposed to a photosensitive surface of a photosensitive belt, and a supporting position of the supporting tool is so varied as to enable the resolution to be varied. CONSTITUTION:For an LED(light emitting diode) array supporting tool 4, its one end is rotatably supported with an axis 5 so that the other end thereof can be moved in a horizontal plane. Further, a long groove hole 6 is bored to one edge side of the LED array supporting tool 4, and a needle 7 is fitted freely slidably to the long groove hole 6. Then, a threaded hole is formed to this needle 7, and a screw rod 8 is screwed into this threaded hole. The screw rod 8 is connected freely rotatably to a pulse motor 9 fixed to a printer body. One end of the LED array supporting tool 4 can be so moved as to become capable of being rotated in the horizontal plane centering the axis 5, and an angle (alpha) to a photosensitive material of the LED array can be varied. For variation of the angle of the LED array, a resolution changing command is received to move the pulse motor 9, and necessary resolution is established.</p> |
