<p>A device for computing estimated mean temperature sensation PMV indicating the degree of comfort in the room environment, which intends to simplify the process of computation, reduce the length of time for computation, and promote lowering of the selling price. On the basis of a radiant temperature Tr, atmospheric temperature Ta, air current speed Vair, fixed constant Tcr, coefficients b1 ∩ b3, and coefficient n, an equivalent temperature Teq is computed by the following equation (a), and an estimated temperature sensation PMVX is computed on the basis of the equivalent temperature T¿eq?, atmospheric temperature Ta, relative humidity RH, saturated vapor pressure Pa?X¿, resistance of the clothes to heat I¿c1?, and coefficients a1 ∩ a6, by another equation (c).
